1. Who we are

TurnKey Stays Ltd (“we”, “us”) operates the TurnKey Stays platform. We are the data controller for personal data processed through your account and the data processor for data your organisation manages on the platform. Contact us at privacy@turnkeystays.co.uk.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — name, email, phone, role and organisation.
• Operational data — properties, bookings, checklists, photos and messages.
• Location data — cleaner device location during active jobs, used for tracking and ETAs.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe; we store only references and status, never card numbers.
• Usage and device data — logs, IP address and audit records of admin actions.

3. How we use it (UK GDPR)

We process data to provide the service (performance of a contract), to keep the platform secure and compliant (legitimate interests and legal obligation), and to send service notifications. Marketing communications, where applicable, rely on consent you can withdraw at any time.

4. Sharing

We share data with sub-processors that power the platform — Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (photo storage), Google Maps (location), Firebase (messaging & push), Twilio (SMS) and Resend (email) — only as needed to deliver the service. We never sell personal data.

5. Retention & your rights

We retain data for as long as your account is active and as required by law. You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@turnkeystays.co.uk.
